Estimating coherence with respect to general quantum measurements

چکیده

The conventional coherence is defined with respect to a fixed orthonormal basis, i.e., von Neumann measurement. Recently, generalized quantum general positive operator-valued measurements has been presented. Several well-defined measures, such as the relative entropy of $$C_{r}$$ , $$l_{1}$$ norm $$C_{l_{1}}$$ and $$C_{T,\alpha }$$ based on Tsallis POVMs have obtained. In this work, we investigate properties . We estimate upper bounds ; show that minimal error probability least square measurement state discrimination given by $$C_{T,1/2}$$ derive uncertainty relations calculate average values over random pure states. All these results include corresponding special cases.

Stability of quantum statistical ensembles with respect to local measurements.

We introduce a stability criterion for quantum statistical ensembles describing macroscopic systems. An ensemble is called "stable" when a small number of local measurements cannot significantly modify the probability distribution of the total energy of the system. We apply this criterion to lattices of spins-1/2, thereby showing that the canonical ensemble is nearly stable, whereas statistical...

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Quantum Zeno effect by general measurements

It was predicted that frequently repeated measurements on an unstable state may alter the decay rate of the state. This is called the quantum Zeno effect (QZE) or the anti-Zeno effect (AZE), depending on whether the decay is suppressed or enhanced. In conventional theories of the QZE and AZE, effects of measurements are simply described by the projection postulate, assuming that each measuremen...

LIFTING MODULES WITH RESPECT TO A PRERADICAL

Let $M$ be a right module over a ring $R$, $tau_M$ a preradical on $sigma[M]$, and$Ninsigma[M]$. In this note we show that if $N_1, N_2in sigma[M]$ are two$tau_M$-lifting modules such that $N_i$ is $N_j$-projective ($i,j=1,2$), then $N=N_1oplusN_2$ is $tau_M$-lifting. We investigate when homomorphic image of a $tau_M$-lifting moduleis $tau_M$-lifting.

More on polynomial Bezoutians with respect to a general basis

We use unified algebraic methods to investigate the properties of polynomial Bezoutians with respect to a general basis. Not only can three known results be easily verified, but also some new properties of polynomial Bezoutians are obtained. Nonsymmetric Lyapunov-type equations of polynomial Bezoutians are also discussed. It turns out that most properties of classical Bezoutians can be analogou...
